Origami Tessellation Tables
In an origami tessellation, a single repeated element folds and connects to fill a plane in any direction, the whole pattern emerging from the logic of one unit. These tables work the same way. Each is a hexagon of identical size, its top in figured cherry whose grain catches light differently from every angle. Because the tables share the same geometry, their tops meet in a single unbroken plane whenever two or more are pushed together — no mismatched heights, no awkward gaps.
The configurations are genuinely open-ended. Line them up for a long, low surface along a sofa. Cluster them for a large board game table. Scatter them around a room for a party and pull them back together afterward. A set of five is shown here, but the tables are designed to be ordered in any number, so the tessellation can grow with the space.
The legs are cherry; the tops are figured cherry, selected for their warmth and figure. Built to order in any quantity.
